Since 1989 the Utne Reader's Alternative Press Awards have showcased the best of the Independent Press in categories ranging from reporting excellence to cultural and international coverage.

For their 10th anniversary I developed a new logo that would commemorate the occasion and reflect the spirit of the awards.
